Publix opened a new 48,387-square-foot store Nov. 20 in The Shoppes at Orange Blossom, 1715 Oil Well Road in Naples, Florida.
“We look forward to introducing [the community] to an array of new offerings and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love,” said Lindsey Willis, media relations manager for Publix.
“This new store also features a seating area for customers to stop and enjoy their favorite Publix finds.”
It also has an adjacent Publix Liquors store, offering beer wine spirits and soft drinks.
The full-service grocery store includes several departments, providing customers with conventional and specialty items:

Deli – Featuring a variety of meats and cheeses, an international selection of olives, antipastos, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses from the U.S. and around the world.

Produce – Carrying organic and conventionally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally grown produce and choices from around the world. The floral department stocks seasonal bouquets.

Bakery – Offering an array of cakes cookies and pies, as well as wedding cakes and desserts made by decorators. Breads and rolls are baked fresh throughout the day.

Meat – Featuring custom cuts of meats, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. There also are ready-to-cook items prepared fresh daily.

Seafood – Carrying fresh seafood delivered throughout the week, including wild and farm-raised fish and a variety of shellfish. The whole fish and fillets are fresh never frozen. Sushi chefs create hand-rolled selections daily.

Pharmacy – Including a large variety of body care products and natural and conventional vitamins minerals and supplements. It also offers delivery by Instacart and a drive-thru option for prescription pickup.
The company celebrated its 95th anniversary by giving commemorative reusable bags to the first 95 customers at the grand opening.
Customers also saw a motorized Publix shopping cart traveling around the community to mark opening day.
