Publix opened a new store Nov. 20 at The Shoppes at Orange Blossom at 1715 Oil Well Road in Naples, Florida. The new 48,387-square-foot location will serve the community with an array of offerings and signature service.
“We are excited to welcome customers to their new Publix. We look forward to introducing them to an array of new offerings and providing them with the service and quality products they know and love,” said Lindsey Willis, media relations manager for Publix. “This new store also features a seating area for customers to stop and enjoy their favorite Publix finds.”
The new store features a Publix Liquors store adjacent to the main market, offering beer wine spirits and soft drinks.
The full-service store includes several departments, providing customers with both conventional and specialty items:

Deli – The full-service deli counter features a variety of meats and cheeses, an international selection of olives, antipastos, hummus and more than 200 artisan cheeses from the US and around the world.

Produce – The department carries organic and conventionally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, with locally grown produce and choices from around the world. The floral department stocks bouquets depicting the changing seasons.

Bakery – A scratch bakery that offers an array of cakes cookies and pies, as well as wedding cakes and desserts made by decorators. Breads and rolls are baked fresh throughout the day.

Meat – The meat department features custom cuts of meats, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. Customers seeking a home-cooked meal with minimal prep time can choose from ready-to-cook items prepared fresh daily.

Seafood – The seafood department carries fresh seafood delivered throughout the week, including wild and farm-raised fish and a variety of shellfish. The whole fish and fillets are fresh never frozen. Sushi chefs create hand-rolled selections daily.

Pharmacy – A full-service pharmacy that includes a large variety of body care products and a wide selection of natural and conventional vitamins minerals and supplements. The pharmacy also offers delivery powered by Instacart and a drive-thru option for prescription pickup.
The company celebrated its 95th anniversary by handing out commemorative reusable bags to the first 95 customers in line at the grand opening. Customers also saw a motorized Publix shopping cart traveling around the community on opening day to celebrate the new location.
