Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace held a grand opening Nov. 14 for a new store at 5181 Sunrise Hwy. in Bohemia, New York, bringing its signature old-world shopping experience to Suffolk County.

The 39,000-square-foot store opened at 7 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m.
The new store introduced the community to a full-service deli, scratch-made bakery, custom-cut meat department, fresh produce, seafood, gourmet cheese and specialty Italian imports. Grand- opening festivities included live music, giveaways, raffles and appearances by local civic and business leaders.
To celebrate the new location, Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace cracked a 900-pound imported provolone cheese from Italy and donated 200 turkeys to Island Harvest Food Bank to help feed families across Long Island.
This expansion marked a milestone for Uncle Giuseppe’s as it continues to serve Long Island families with quality, tradition and service. The Bohemia location also offers home delivery and curbside pickup for added convenience.
The grocer shared that stores are planned in Greenvale, opening in Q2, and Levittown, opening in Q4.
