Amarillo, Texas-based GVH Distribution recently welcomed wholesalers, retailers and vendors from across grocery to its annual conference in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Over four days, the industry partners combined business strategies with networking and social activities designed to strengthen relationships and spark innovation across the supply chain.
“The GVH Customer and Vendor Conference is about much more than products, it’s about partnerships,” said Sean Wright, president and CEO.
“The networking and idea exchange that happens here is unique to our segment of the industry and is what continues to set GVH and our partners apart in delivering best value and innovation to the marketplace.”

The conference offered a setting to shape customer strategies and outline key initiatives for the balance of 2025 and into 2026. Through roundtable discussions, vendor showcases and one-on-one meetings, participants explored how to:
- Expand innovative packaging and supplies programs designed to boost sales and sell more groceries.
- Launch tailored promotions and programs for wholesalers and independent retailers.
They also were introduced to a new farm-to-store floral program, along with a cut fruit solution.
Vendors shared new product lines, promotional offers and marketing support to help retailers differentiate themselves in competitive markets.
When not in meetings, the Coeur d’Alene setting provided a backdrop for professional collaboration and social connection.
The conference kicked off with a dinner for customers and the GVH team, while the following day featured a golf tournament. Spouses enjoyed spa trips or activities showcasing the region’s natural beauty.
According to GVH, the highlight of the week was the Roaring 1920s-themed dinner, with guests wearing flapper dresses and fedoras.
Attendees participated in an afternoon of team-building activities that encouraged collaboration, followed by a closing dinner that featured customer and vendor recognition along with an awards ceremony for events during the week.
Plans are under way for the next conference, with additional details being released in the months ahead.
