Schnucks Seven Hills produce department

To celebrate and thank customers for their patience during a complete remodel, Schnucks will host a customer appreciation event Nov. 7-8 at its Seven Hills store in O’Fallon, Illinois.

On Nov. 7, the company will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the remodel at noon and will host a complimentary wine and cheese pairing and bourbon tasting event from 4-6 p.m.

On Nov. 8, it will feature sampling opportunities throughout the store as well as exclusive savings only available to customers at this store. Shoppers will receive $5 in free Schnucks Rewards points and a free 12-pack of Schnucks soda for the first 500 customers, beginning at noon. Additionally for kids, there will be a balloon artist and cookie decorating event.

As part of the celebration, Schnucks will donate $5,000 each to community partners Challenge Unlimited and the O’Fallon Food Pantry.

Renovations to the 60,000-square-foot store include updates to almost every area and department, including: 

  • New Starbucks coffee shop with updated outdoor seating area;
  • Relocated and renovated meat and seafood departments;
  • New fresh sushi area;
  • Renovated and expanded deli and produce departments;
  • Specialty cheese shop;
  • Picadeli salad bar;
  • Relocated and renovated floral department;
  • Updated bakery displays; and
  • New décor additions throughout the store.

The Seven Hills store opened as a Hart Food & Drug in 1996. Schnucks acquired the location in 2008, and the store has 123 employees. Founded in 1939 in North St. Louis, Schnucks has served the Metro East Illinois area since 1970.
