Kroger celebrated the grand opening of a new Kroger Marketplace on Oct. 31 at 113 East Bonds Ranch Road in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 123,000-square-foot store, which represents an investment of $40 million, has created 220 jobs for the community.

“With the nearest grocery stores nearly four miles away, this new Kroger Marketplace will deliver much-needed access and everyday convenience to the Bonds Ranch community,” said Rudy DiPietro, president, Kroger’s Texas Division.
“We are excited to open our doors and welcome our neighbors with Texas-sized savings in every aisle, friendly service and a store built with the heart of this community in mind.”
The store features several offerings, including a modern décor package, Pax & Benficia café, Murray’s Cheese counter, fuel center with 18 fueling positions and a grab-and-go kiosk with beverages and snacks, full-service grocery, produce, floral, meat and seafood, pharmacy and expanded general merchandise.
The first 230 shoppers that attended the grand opening were greeted with special gifts and mementos.
In addition, shoppers will experience a special weekly advertisement that features exclusive savings for this store from Oct. 31-Nov. 4, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s new fuel center with a Kroger Rewards Card during the weekend of Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
The store is the second new marketplace format location in Texas that Kroger will open in 2025, following the debut of one in Plano last winter.
Kroger also has broken ground on three Kroger Marketplaces this year in Anna, Little Elm and the Sendera Ranch neighborhood of North Fort Worth, all of which are anticipated to open in 2026.
