From Sept. 17-30, Schnuck Markets Inc. held its annual United Way Round Up at the Register campaign, raising $108,264 for the nonprofit.

One hundred percent of customer round ups will benefit the United Way chapters in the communities in which they were donated and will contribute to the organization’s mission to build a more resilient community.

In last year’s campaign, Schnucks employees, customers and the company raised nearly $2.25 million for the United Way.

“Through our United Way campaign and the corresponding Round Up at the Register, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the health, stability and future of the many communities we serve throughout the Midwest,” said Schnucks Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck.

“We are so grateful for all the people who have extended so much generosity to United Way and our efforts to empower local individuals and families in need. Support like this helps us build a brighter future for our communities,” said Michelle D. Tucker, president and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis.

“United Way is in the midst of its annual Community Campaign, and Schnucks’ commitment to helping us create lasting change will make this year’s campaign truly special. We appreciate Schnucks’ longstanding support of our mission to help people live their best possible lives.”
