Joined by more than 750 customers on Oct. 22, H-E-B debuted its store at 13100 N FM 973 in Manor, a community east of Austin, Texas.
The 101,000-square-foot store is the first H-E-B in the Central Texas city and showcases the quality products and innovative services the retailer’s customers have come to love and expect.
“Our H-E-B partners are excited to open the first store in Manor, allowing us to serve even more Texans in this dynamic community,” said Cathy Harm, H-E-B’s SVP for Central Texas. “We are excited to provide a quality shopping experience and look forward to serving up the best of H-E-B.”
Inside and out, the Manor H-E-B has a distinctive overall design that was thoughtfully crafted to reflect and complement the community. The retailer also places an emphasis on environmental sustainability, incorporating features such as smart lighting, abundant natural light and CO2 refrigeration.
Filled with amenities and unique departments, the Manor H‑E‑B offers features such as H-E-B Curbside with parking and home delivery; H-E-B pharmacy with covered drive-thru service; Texas Backyard, which offers products for gardening and outdoor entertaining; and a 14-pump fuel station with car wash.
Other features include:
- Full-service bakery and Tortilleria that offers a selection of artisan breads, fresh tortillas made in-house and varieties of desserts, pastries and cakes;
- Expansive deli featuring a variety of prepared foods and fresh-sliced meats and cheeses, as well as custom-made party tray options for any occasion;
- Produce section with large organic and Texas-grown selections, including fresh squeezed juices and freshly made guacamole along with pre-cut fruit and vegetable trays;
- Fresh Seafood Market, including full-service seafood counter with a fresh assortment from around the world, delivered seven days a week;
- The seafood department will also feature Bayou Boil House by H-E-B, offering fully cooked, easy-to-reheat products boiled fresh in-store daily, along with seasonal outdoor boils;
- Fresh Meat Market offers natural, prime, grass-fed and wagyu meat cut in-store by certified meat cutters, as well as 100 percent pure beef ground in-store daily and organic offerings; and
- Blooms by H-E-B floral department, offering online ordering and delivery service.

H-E-B commemorated the store’s grand opening with $5,000 donations each to the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation, Manor Education Foundation, Manor United Methodist Church Pantry and Manor Arts Council.
H-E-B is a multi-format retailer, which operates its Central Market and Joe V’s Smart Shop stores throughout Texas, as well as Mi Tienda stores in Houston. H-E-B also owns Favor Delivery, a delivery service that serves cities across the state.
