The National Grocers Association (NGA) recognized Autumn Price, UNFI’s VP of government affairs, with NGA’s Pinnacle PAC Award during the annual Executive Conference and Public Policy Summit in Washington, D.C.

“I’m proud to present Autumn with the Pinnacle PAC Award at this year’s Executive Conference and Public Policy Summit,” said Christopher Jones, NGA’s chief government relations officer and SVP.

“Autumn has spent considerable time advocating on behalf of independent grocers, the wholesalers who serve them and the entire food retail industry. She has volunteered her time to sit on NGA’s Government Relations Committee and the NGA Grocers PAC Board, where she has been an invaluable voice and resource.”

Established in 2014 to honor Tom Wenning, retired NGA EVP and general counsel, for his years of service to the association and the independent grocery industry, NGA’s Pinnacle PAC Award is presented to NGA members that help advance the role and presence of independent grocers and NGA in government and political affairs.

The Executive Conference and Public Policy Summit is NGA’s annual event for decision-makers and leadership teams to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace through in-depth forecasts on the future of the industry, outlooks of emerging economic and business trends and opportunities to strengthen relationships with trading partners throughout the supply chain.
