Dan’s Foothill gathered employees, vendors and guests Oct. 8 in an upper parking lot overlooking the store to celebrate the store’s grand reopening.
Director of Construction and Maintenance Jan Whiteley, Regional Director Chris Otteson, VP of Retail Operations Greg Welling and Dan’s Foothill Store Director Janel Grangroth shared their appreciation for the team and the community that has supported Dan’s for more than a century. After the ribbon cutting, guests sampled products from vendors and toured the remodeled store.
The update brings a new look to a longtime community store. The refreshed Dan’s Market logo welcomes shoppers with a clean design that connects the store’s history to its future.
“We’re thrilled with our newly remodeled Dan’s Market,” said Greg Welling, VP of retail operations for Dan’s.
“Our goal with this remodel was to create a community gathering place, including an even better shopping experience for our guests. We’re excited for our friends and neighbors to come in and experience the changes we have made. We’re proud to continue being a part of the Salt Lake community and look forward to serving our guests for many more years.”
Inside, the remodel adds brighter spaces and improved flow throughout the store. The produce area features an expanded selection of local and organic fruits and vegetables. The bakery now offers a larger variety of artisan breads, pastries and cookies. Guests also will find local and specialty grocery products, including gluten-free and vegan items.
The pharmacy has grown its services to meet more everyday health needs. Guests can receive strep testing and treatment, cold sore treatment, immunizations, prescriptions for birth control, anti-aging, eyelash growth, UTI treatment and yeast infection treatment.
