Inmar

Inmar Intelligence has begun a new partnership with RSA America to become its digital incentive and coupon settlement provider, delivering promotions and savings tools to RSA’s network of more than 250 independent retailers.

While independent grocers often are seen as the primary lifeline for food in rural communities, food deserts and price-sensitive communities, economic turbulence is making them more susceptible to competition from bigger chains and delivery services as consumers increasingly seek the best deals.

In fact, the recent 2025 Holiday Forecast Report by Inmar notes that 82 percent of consumers say they may try to save on groceries and/or essentials in the months ahead to cover other holiday expenses.

Inmar simplifies the interaction and engagement between consumers and retailers by activating national promotional campaigns through a single channel partner. Meanwhile, retailers can experience improved shopper retention, foot traffic and price competitiveness.

“Today’s shoppers are looking for every opportunity to save, and we’re excited to partner with RSA America to make those savings more accessible where it matters most, at the local level,” said Rob Weisberg, EVP and president of Martech at Inmar Intelligence.

“RSA America and their retailers have created outstanding engagement not typically seen at independent retailers. By bringing together digital coupons with streamlined coupon settlement, we’re helping over five million shoppers get meaningful savings at checkout, while giving independent retailers the confidence and efficiency they need to support these programs at scale.”

Also through the partnership:

  • Independent grocers in the RSA network will gain access to integrated digital savings solutions, offering their shoppers more relevant and accessible coupons.
  • CPG brands will be able to engage with independent retailer shoppers by leveraging Inmar’s data-informed digital ecosystem.

“At RSA America, we’re committed to helping our independent retailers stay competitive and connected to today’s digitally savvy shoppers,” said CEO Ravi Achanta.

“Inmar’s proven expertise in both digital couponing and settlement allows us to deliver real value on both sides of the register, making it easier for our retailers to participate in national programs while giving their shoppers the savings they expect.”

The collaboration comes at an important time for independent retailers navigating evolving shopper expectations, rising operational demands and the need for competitive differentiation. With digital coupon use on the rise, RSA retailers will be better equipped to drive loyalty, increase trip frequency and provide value at the shelf and beyond.
