Flowers Foods Inc. has shared that after 36 years of service, including the last 18 as CFO, Steve Kinsey plans to retire at the end of 2025.

The company has begun a search for Kinsey’s successor with a leading executive search firm. Following his retirement, Kinsey is expected to continue to serve in an advisory role for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition.

“On behalf of everyone at Flowers, I would like to congratulate Steve on a well-deserved retirement,” said Ryals McMullian, chairman and CEO.

“Steve has committed his career to Flowers and has been a valued partner to me and the rest of the leadership team. His legacy is one of integrity, respect, and a relentless commitment to excellence. We are deeply grateful for his many years of leadership and unwavering dedication to the company.”
