New owner and operator Anchor Foods has reopened the Save A Lot at 480 Lexington Road in Versailles, Kentucky.
The company and the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce celebrated with a ribbon cutting on Sept. 8. Customers who visited the store that day discovered special offerings and promotions.
With the change in ownership came several upgrades to the store, including a renewed focus on fresh produce, meat cut daily in-store and Save A Lot private label products.
“I’m proud of the work our team has done to provide the best shopping experience for our customers,” said Lori Stivers, president of Anchor Foods. “We are excited for this opportunity to serve the Versailles community and provide them with the high-quality shopping experience they deserve.”
Bill Mayo, Save A Lot chief operating officer, hailed the transition.
“Lori Stivers and her team’s commitment to the Versailles store and community will have a profound impact on how customers enjoy the Save A Lot experience while continuing to provide unmatched value and quality,” he said.
