The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) returns to Las Vegas Sept. 13-17, bringing together more than 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers from around the globe to discover the latest advancements shaping the future of baking and food manufacturing.
Education remains a cornerstone of IBIE, with its largest program yet featuring more than 250 IBIEducate sessions and demos included with every registration.
Attendees can explore industry topics ranging from the impact of artificial intelligence and automation to formulation and consumer behavior.
Among the highlights at IBIE 2025:
- Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie: National baking teams from Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, Mexico and the U.S. will compete in categories like boulangerie, viennoiserie and artistic bread showpieces, vying for the chance to represent the Western Hemisphere at the World Cup of Baking in Paris.
- The Rockin’ Pint Concert: This ’80s-themed networking event features performances by Wang Chung and Baker Duff Goldman with his band, Foie Grock.
- RBA Retail Bakers Center: Live demonstrations, competitions and stories from some of the most recognizable names in baking, including Buddy Valastro, Paulina Abascal, Iginio Massari, Romain Dufour and Duff Goldman.
- Wholesale Bakers Center: This space offers a tailored learning experience designed to address the challenges and opportunities for commercial bakers.
- Chef Talks: New this year, this series spotlights leading baking voices from Mexico and Latin America, featuring innovation and flavor trends with real-time translation.
- Panettone World Cup: Expert bakers present their panettone creations for live evaluation on the show floor. The contest celebrates panettone’s rich heritage and determines who will advance to the global finals in Milan, Italy, in November 2026.
- Creative Cake Decorating Competition: Six elite teams will compete in artistry and skill, showcasing wedding cakes, rolled fondant, sculpted cakes and buttercream creations.
- Innovation Showcase: This event debuts the newest products and technology to enhance operations, all on display in one location. Entries include emerging ingredients, equipment, packaging and safety products not seen at IBIE.
- The Artisan Village: An interactive hub offering learning opportunities and competitions focused on artisan and specialty baked goods.
- Best in Baking Industry Awards: Honoring suppliers and bakeries committed to positive transformation in the industry across paramount topics like sustainability, workforce development, sanitation, packaging innovation, plant efficiency and automation/robotics.
- Two Specialty Pavilions: These areas showcase the Snack Food and Pet Food sectors within the baking industry.
