Save A Lot Clendenin exterior lineup

Save A Lot has opened a new store at 106 Beech St. in Clendenin, West Virginia.

Owned and operated by Houchens Food Group, this store was built from the ground up to replace an older existing location in town.

Upgrades for this location include a deli where customers can pick up fried chicken, salads and other grab-and-go items. This Save A Lot store is among the 88 Houchens Food Group locations across West Virgina, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee.

“We are excited to bring this new location to the Clendenin community,” said Danny Wilson, VP of retail operations for Houchens Food Group.

“We at Houchens Food Group know our customers have been shopping with us for over 20 years. They know they can rely on us for quality and value. Bringing them this new location with the same value-focused, high-quality products they’ve come to love is exciting, and we can’t wait for customers to experience it.”

Save A Lot believes that all neighborhoods should have access to fresh, high quality food options. Stores focus on offering everyday low prices on great tasting, high quality private label brands as well as national brand products, USDA-inspected meat cut fresh in store, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables and other non-food items.

“We’re thrilled to have the Houchens Food Group building this new location in Clendenin, West Virginia,” said Save A Lot CEO Bill Mayo. “We know the Save A Lot brand brings unmatched value and quality to more than 700 communities nationwide and can’t wait for the Clendenin community to have this compelling shopping experience.”

The Clendenin store will be open daily from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
