Lidl US store opening

Lidl U.S. is opening a new store Oct. 1 at 2904 Prince William Pkwy. in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Shoppers will find a collection of private label picks, global imports and everyday name brands. The store highlights items from imported cheeses to fresh meats and seafood, as well as specialty sauces and cured meats.

The MyLidl app will offer exclusive app-only deals, including a welcome coupon and Super Shopper rewards program.

Other departments the Woodbridge Lidl will offer include:

  • 49-cent croissant Forty-nine-cent butter croissants, flown in from Europe and baked fresh daily in-store.
  • Special guest bakery program It introduces one new baked good each month that leans into seasonal trends and unique items. For the Woodbridge opening, the company will feature pumpkin and corn muffins. In addition, the bakery department restocks throughout the day.
  • Butcher’s Specialty Private Label Meat Brand A line of high-quality beef, chicken, pork, lamb and veal, featuring options like USDA Choice beef, organic and grass-fed beef, antibiotic-free chicken and all-natural pork.
  • Preferred Selection Pizza Imported from Europe, they feature a combination of unique and classic flavors, like Truffle Oil & Mushroom, 5 Cheese & Chutney and Margherita.
  • Bon Gelati Mini Mix Ice Cream Bars Similar to other brand-name ice cream bars, this Lidl-exclusive pack comes with 12 bars and four flavors, including milk chocolate, almond, white chocolate and dark chocolate.
  • Preferred Selection Prosciutto A premium, thinly sliced prosciutto, perfect for charcuterie boards and sandwiches.
