Schnuck Markets Inc. is finalizing plans to replace its store at 10650 Olive Blvd. at North Spoede Road in Creve Coeur, Missouri, with a new 68,0000-square-foot location in the adjacent Olia Village mixed-use master development.
The current 36,500-square-foot store, which opened in 1967, is one of the oldest and smallest locations that Schnucks operates. An opening date has not been determined.
Once completed, employees will transfer to the new location, with Schnucks expected to hire additional workers for the larger store.
“After serving our loyal customers in the Creve Coeur and surrounding area for nearly six decades, we’re excited to continue nourishing people’s lives in that community with a brand new, state-of-the-art Schnucks store,” said Schnucks Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck.
“In addition to a more modern and efficient shopping experience … the new location will allow us to offer shoppers more options and amenities that simply aren’t possible at the current, smaller location.”
Schnucks has a second Creve Coeur location at 12756 Olive Blvd. in Bellerive Plaza, which opened in 1976.
More details about the new store will be shared as plans are finalized.
