Kroger Dallas Division celebrated the grand reopening of its Lake Highlands store July 23 at 10677 E. Northwest Highway in Dallas, Texas.

Additionally, a donation was presented to Kaylan VanPelt, director of neighbor services with White Rock Center for Hope, as part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan.

As the program concluded, Owens was joined by leadership and associates for the official ribbon cutting.

Shoppers enjoyed product samples and a give-away of items to make the perfect breakfast for the first 200 shoppers. The event kicked off a special weekly advertisement that features exclusive savings from July 23-29, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s fuel center with a Kroger Rewards Card during the weekend of July 25-27.

The store has undergone renovations to enhance décor aesthetics with a fresh look to complement the store’s wide array of fresh products. Other enhancements include updates to service layout and selections in the bakery, service deli, produce, floral and meat/seafood sections, and a grocery aisle reset with the addition of new local, natural and healthy selections. Kroger is also celebrating new lower prices on more than 1,000 items throughout all its DFW area stores.
