Associated Grocers of New England (AGNE), the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England, has promoted Ben Glover to SVP, CFO and treasurer.
Since joining AGNE in 2022, Glover has played a key role in strengthening its financial operations through a series of leadership positions, including corporate store controller, director of finance, senior director of finance and, most recently, VP of finance.
His strategic insight, collaborative leadership style and understanding of the business have been instrumental in advancing AG’s financial capabilities and supporting company-wide initiatives, according to an AGNE statement.
In his new role, Glover will lead the overall financial strategy and operations, including planning and analysis, budgeting, investment evaluation and risk management. He will work with the executive team to ensure financial strength, operational discipline and long-term sustainability for the organization.
His responsibilities also will include cash flow management, financial risk assessment and delivering data-driven insights to support decision-making across the organization.
