Whole Foods Market opened the third location of its smaller format store concept, Whole Foods Market Daily Shop, June 4 at 301 West 50th St. in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen.
The 8,500-square-foot store features more than 400 items from the Northeast, each meeting Whole Foods Market’s quality standards.
“This neighborhood is very dynamic – we’re steps away from great entertainment and some of the best restaurants in the city,” said Joel Jimenez, store team leader. “If you need a quick lunch, some ingredients on your way home from work or if you’re stopping in for dinner to-go ahead of a show, we’re ready to serve you.”
On opening morning, customers received free coffee and breakfast bites, and the first 300 people in line also got a limited-edition tote bag.
Whole Foods Market contributed in-kind products to support the work of New York Common Pantry. It also will make a donation to Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project.
In May, the grocer opened its second Whole Foods Market Daily Shop location in the East Village’s StuyTown development. Find more information on the features and product assortment at both the StuyTown and Hell’s Kitchen locations here.
Future Whole Foods Market Daily Shop locations are planned for Hoboken, New Jersey, and Brooklyn’s Williamsburg neighborhood. In addition, the first location in the Washington, D.C., area is set for the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia.
The Hell’s Kitchen store is open from 7 a.m.-10- p.m. daily. For more information, visit https://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/hellskitchen.
