DoorDash has shared that plans are underway to acquire Deliveroo, a London-based delivery service.
Deliveroo was founded in 2013 by Will Shu and Greg Orlowski, working with about 176,000 best-loved restaurants, grocers and retail partners, as well as more than 130,000 riders. Deliveroo served about 7 million monthly active consumers in 2024 across nine countries: Belgium, France, Italy, Ireland, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
