Allegiance Retail Services opened a Foodtown on March 28 at 1490 Clove Road in Staten Island, New York.
Formerly known as Olive Tree Marketplace, the rebranded store brings all the hallmarks of a Foodtown family-owned and operated supermarket, featuring traditional departments and products.

To celebrate, a customer appreciation day and ribbon cutting ceremony were held on April 12, featuring food tastings, giveaways and raffles.
Throughout spring, shoppers can take advantage of special promotions on everyday essentials and specialty items for Passover and Easter.
Store owner David Shehadeh said the transition to the Foodtown banner was driven by a commitment to provide the neighborhood with a one-stop shopping destination that delivers all the goods needed with exceptional value.
The store offers an extensive selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, dairy and baked goods, as well as a diverse range of natural and organic products.

In addition, it will feature an expanded grab-and-go section designed for busy shoppers, as well as a floral department. Under its previous banner, the store operated more as a large-scale deli.
Situated in the residential neighborhood of Sunnyside, the 9,000-square-foot store has a 25-space parking lot.
Significant upgrades have been made throughout the location, including new freezers, deli counters, enhanced lighting and updated equipment.
