The community of Marty, South Dakota, has welcomed the launch of Marty Food Lockers, a grocery delivery solution from Buche Foods that aims to address the challenges of grocery accessibility in the rural community.
In a recent meeting held at the Marty Community Center, residents learned they can shop online at buchefoods.com and select the Marty Food Lockers as their pickup location. This eliminates the need for lengthy travel to larger towns, saving time and resources.
“Our goal is to make grocery shopping more convenient and accessible for everyone,” said RF Buche, CEO and president of G.F. Buche Co. “The food locker program allows residents to access quality groceries without the hassle of long commutes.”
The program offers a wide range of products available through Buche Foods’ online/app platform, including fresh produce, meats, dairy and pantry staples.
The food lockers are designed to ensure the freshness and safety of groceries, providing a secure and temperature-controlled environment for perishable items.
The informational meeting provided an opportunity for residents to ask questions and learn more about the program.
“I think once people start to realize that this program is available, we will start to see a growth in it. The people that were here are very excited about it,” said Krystal, a team member of Buche Foods in Wagner, South Dakota.
Residents are encouraged to call the store to learn more and begin using the resource.
