Sprouts Farmers Market will open a new location Jan. 31 at 120 Shops Blvd. in St. Johns, Florida, marking its first store opening of 2025.
“St. Johns County is the healthiest county in Florida, as published by the U.S. News & World Report in 2024. So it makes sense for Sprouts Farmers Market to open their newest location in St. Johns County, Florida,” said Christian Whitehurst, who represents District 1 on the St. Johns County Board of Commissioners.
“Sprouts cultivates a culture and community of health. From its farm-fresh produce and other healthy, affordable items in its stores to its Healthy Communities Foundation, Sprouts is growing knowledge and accessibility to healthy food choices. We welcome Sprouts to St. Johns County and look forward to them being a great corporate neighbor to our residents.”
From Jan. 31-Feb. 2, a variety of community activities will mark the grand opening. A “pop-up party” out front will give attendees the chance to taste seasonal produce and participate in a “guess the weight” contest of an oversized piece of produce.
The first 200 shoppers on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 will receive a free “Goodness it’s Free” reusable goodie bag filled with special products. Plus, the first 400 guests Jan. 31 will receive a free long-stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
Inside, shoppers can experience innovative brands at the Vendor Village, try free samples throughout the store and get exclusive offers on purchases.

Shoppers who sign up for a Sprouts Rewards account can receive 20 percent off their purchases over the grand-opening weekend when they scan their app account barcodes or enter their phone numbers at checkout. Shoppers also can view Sprouts’ weekly ad and save more than $100 with digital coupons on grocery staples and new items every month in the app.
Customers also have the chance to win a $500 Sprouts gift card until midnight Feb. 2 when they sign up through the store page on Sprouts’ website.
Sprouts Farmers Market works with local Florida farmers – including Alderman Farms, Always Fresh Farms, BBI Produce, Brooks Tropicals, Duda Farm Fresh Foods, Grimes Produce Company, H&A Farms, J&C Tropicals, Jim Rash and Noble Citrus – to source local produce.
Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain edible to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which provides food access to those in need across St. Johns County.
