Berkley’s Market has opened a new location at 2822 McKinney Ave. in the State Thomas neighborhood of Dallas.
The 4,100-square-foot Uptown location includes indoor seating and an outdoor patio as a community space for customers to have morning coffee or lunch and visit with friends.
“We’re all about creating a neighborhood hub where convenience meets community,” said Zac Porter, founder of Berkley’s Market.
“In State Thomas and across Dallas, we aim to be the place where locals can start their day with a great coffee, grab a quick and delicious bite, stock their shelves with essentials or unwind with a glass of wine. We’re excited to bring everything our customers need under one roof, right in the heart of the neighborhoods we love to serve.”
The location also will serve as a test kitchen, where new prepared food offerings will be developed and piloted. Customers can try the latest items before they roll out to other Berkley’s stores.
“We’re going all-in on our prepared foods and continuing with our fantastic coffee program here,” Porter added. “Our partnership with La Colombe for coffee, paired with local pastries from La Casita and Shug’s bagels, ensures top-tier quality and hopefully everyone’s favorites. We’re hopeful this location will quickly become a favorite for our State Thomas neighbors.”

Customers also will find an assortment of treats, including Berkley’s Nutella Rice Krispie Treat, house-made overnight oats, Berkley’s breakfast tacos and La Casita pastries. Berkley’s has lunch and dinner options to grab-and-go, as well as snack packs and sides.
Some other brands customers can expect to see include Four Corners Brewing Co., Milk & Patience Yogurt, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Everit & Ellaine baked goods, Siete, Yellowbird Salsa and Stocks & Bondy Soup.
Berkley’s plans additional locations in the near future.
“State Thomas is one of the most vibrant areas in Dallas, and we’re excited to be part of it,” Porter said. “We look forward to welcoming our neighbors and creating a space that feels like home.”
