ECRS has reached 100 supplier integrations for Gateway, its electronic data interchange (EDI) solution, a module within the comprehensive retail management software suite, CATAPULT Retail POS.
Among these 100 supplier integrations, some of the most notable partners include UNFI, KeHE, Associated Wholesale Grocers, McKesson, Phillip & King and Southern Glazers. These EDI partnerships empower independent retailers to further streamline their supply chain processes and simplify the ordering experience.
ECRS’ Gateway solution allows retailers to automate the flow of information with suppliers through EDI and email. By electronically transmitting purchase orders to suppliers in industry-standard formats and seamlessly receiving invoice data back, Gateway eliminates the need for manual intervention, reducing errors, increasing efficiency and improving the speed and accuracy of inventory management.
“With the continued growth of e-commerce and retail, automation is more important than ever,“ said Melanie Marshall, Supply Chain Business Unit manager of ECRS. “Our Gateway solution helps retailers modernize their supply chain by allowing them to process transactions with little to no manual input. With 100 supplier integrations now live, we’re enabling retailers to scale their operations and ensure smoother, more reliable order fulfillment.”
The integration of 100 suppliers represents a significant step forward in ECRS’ mission to provide the most comprehensive, automated point-of-sale solutions to independent retailers. Retailers using the Gateway module can now tap into a wider pool of supplier data to make more informed decisions and streamline the order process for quicker replenishment cycles.
