Sunbury, Pennsylvania-based Weis Markets has promoted several executives to new positions in the company.
Doug Becker, previously director of meat merchandising, has been promoted to VP of fresh merchandising, while Angela Charnosky, senior director of enterprise services, has been named VP of enterprise services.
Becker has more than 40 years of store-level and merchandising management experience. In addition to meat, he also oversees the company’s produce, deli/food service, bakery, seafood and floral departments. He reports to Bob Gleeson, SVP of merchandising and marketing.
Charnosky, who joined the company in 2021, has more than 20 years of experience in multiple information technology positions. She oversees Weis’ program management, business systems analysis, quality assurance and enterprise architecture teams. She continues to report to Greg Zeh, SVP and chief information officer.

Weis Markets also has promoted three other employees to new positions.
Autumn Wolfe, director of tax, accounts receivable, real estate and treasury, was promoted to senior director of accounting, tax and treasury. Wolfe joined the company in 2018 as senior manager of tax and profit improvement and was promoted to her most recent role in 2020. She will continue to report to Jen Rogers, VP and controller.
Valerie Seipp was promoted to director of financial analytics, budgeting and external reporting. Seipp joined the company as a staff accountant in 2013, and subsequently advanced to positions of increasing leadership responsibility. Prior to her promotion, she worked as senior manager of budgeting and analytics. She also will report to Rogers.
Candi Thomas was promoted to director of program management. She oversees the company’s IT project managers and IT change management. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in progressive leadership roles. She recently completed her master’s degree in professional studies for organizational development and change at Penn State University. She will report to Charnosky.
