AGNE Names Conley, Aguiar To New Company Positions

Associated Grocers of New England has promoted two executives – Joe Conley and Eric Aguiar – to new positions in the company.

Joe Conley has been named VP of category management and procurement. In this role, Conley will lead the company’s efforts in optimizing product assortment, strengthening vendor partnerships and driving strategic procurement initiatives. His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in shaping AGNE’s procurement and merchandising strategies, ensuring the company’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional value to its retailers.

Conley’s industry experience and proven track record of fostering strong relationships make him well-suited to excel in this expanded role.

AGNE also has named Eric Aguiar as VP of sales. In this role, Aguiar will oversee AGNE’s sales operations, new business development and retail programs, driving strategic initiatives to enhance customer engagement and market growth.

Aguiar brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the grocery industry, having held key roles such as director of retail operations and district manager at Shaw’s. His expertise in sales management, financial strategy and market analysis has consistently delivered outstanding results in revenue growth and profitability.

Aguiar has a bachelor’s degree with an HR Management concentration from Southern New Hampshire University, an MBA in organizational management from Eastern University and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
