ECRS’ QuickCheck Earns Industry Quality, Safety Certification

ECRS QuickCheck

Boone, North Carolina-based ECRS has shared that its self-checkout solution, QuickCheck, has achieved certification from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a leader in safety science.

The certification provides independent verification to retailers and shoppers that the self-checkout has been thoroughly evaluated and meets established safety, quality and security standards.

“We are thrilled with our recent certification completion, as we begin producing QuickCheck, a commonsense approach to self-checkout that underscores our dedication to innovation, reliability and consumer-centric solutions,” said John Parsons, product owner of Self-Service at ECRS. “With its cutting-edge features and cost-effective design, this system represents a significant advantage for our local and regional retailers.”

According to ECRS, QuickCheck was designed with a focus on reliability, affordability and efficiency, avoiding conventional cash recycling approaches often seen in the retail industry. Instead, it utilizes dependable non-recycling cash management devices, ensuring performance, transactional speed and hassle-free user experience.

Powered by ECRS’ retail management software, CATAPULT Retail POS, shoppers can have an intuitive transaction experience while retailers operate business efficiently with advanced loss-prevention features and simple back-office management.
