Mollie Stone’s Markets Kicks Off Fundraiser To Fight Hunger

Mollie Stone's hunger fundraiser

Mollie Stone’s Markets has begun its annual Grab & Give food drive, a community initiative in partnership with San Francisco-Marin Food Bank aimed at fighting hunger in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Customers across all Mollie Stone’s locations can participate through Dec. 31 by purchasing pre-packed bags of groceries or making direct donations, which will benefit those facing food insecurity.

Each Grab & Give bag, which includes carefully selected nutritious staples and essential items, will be offered at a discounted price. Since its inception in 2016, the Grab & Give initiative has successfully donated nearly 80,000 pounds of food, helping to provide meals for those in need.

Grab & Give has become a holiday tradition for Mollie Stone’s shoppers, providing an easy way to make a difference. With rising costs and demand for food assistance, Mollie Stone’s Grab & Give brings relief and comfort to those facing hunger in the Bay Area.

“We are proud to continue our commitment to fighting food insecurity in our communities,” said Mike Stone, owner and CEO of Mollie Stone’s Markets.

“Through Grab & Give, our customers have shown incredible generosity year after year, coming together to support our neighbors in need. Every donation counts, and with the help of our loyal shoppers,  we’re able to provide a lifeline to families during the holiday season.”

Founded in 1986, Mollie Stone’s Markets is a family-owned, union grocery chain with nine locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
