The H-E-B Cypress store will be home to the area’s first True Texas BBQ, which will feature a drive-thru. H-E-B’s restaurant offers all-natural meats that are slow smoked in-house over natural Texas oak wood along with sides that include brisket beans, creamed corn and homestyle potato salad.

Shoppers can also enjoy the walk-up seafood boil stand, Bayou Boil House by H-E-B, which is situated at the front of the H-E-B store in Cypress. Customers can select from peel and eat shrimp, boiled crab, boiled and seasoned sausage, potatoes and corn.

“I am thrilled to open my third store in the Cy-Fair community, and I couldn’t be more excited about the enhanced offerings and exceptional service the Bridgeland store will provide,” said David Hamilton, general manager and a 23-year H-E-B employee. “My team and I are proud members of this community, and we look forward to strengthening our ties here while sharing the spirit of H-E-B.”

In celebration of the grand opening, H-E-B presented a donation to three area nonprofits.

  • Bridgeland Community Supports Veterans Inc. received $5,000 to support its mission of planning, building and maintaining the Bridgeland Veterans Memorial Park in the Bridgeland Community;
  • Children Like Loni received holiday turkey meals for 200, turkey and sides included;
  • Coastal Prairie Conservancy received $5,000 to sustain a resilient Texas by preserving 30,000 acres of coastal prairies, wetlands, farms and ranches.

As H-E-B grows its footprint across Texas, the Bridgeland store fulfills the company’s commitment to “deliver freshness and quality at H-E-B’s everyday low prices.” Filled with new features and innovations, the store offers H-E-B curbside with 48 spaces and home delivery. These digital services give customers choices on how they shop, pay for and receive their products.
