Food City held a grand opening Oct. 16 for a new 46,000-square-foot store on Whitewater Drive in Ocoee, Tennessee.
“We are excited to be joining the Ocoee retail community and look forward to serving the residents of Ocoee and Polk County,” said Steven C. Smith, Food City president and CEO.
The location includes an in-store bakery and deli, complete with fresh and hot food bars offering a variety of soup, salad and fruit selections, hickory wood smoker, brick pizza oven and fresh sushi. Full-service meat and seafood departments feature top-quality meats, certified Angus beef and in-house butchers to cut steaks and fresh meat to order. Expanded grocery, frozen food and produce departments go beyond traditional fare with selections of specialty, gourmet and vegan items.
The floral boutique, staffed with a designer seven days a week, offers a full assortment of fresh-cut floral arrangements, bouquets and gift items. The store also includes a pharmacy with a drive-thru, Food City Gas N’ Go, curbside pick-up and home delivery, as well as five traditional checkout lanes and seven self-checkouts.
