New Seasons Market invites customers to give their loyalty points, or Neighbor Rewards, to several local nonprofits: Impact NW, Native American Youth Family Center (NAYA) and Zenger Farm.

Through Sept. 30, the Portland-based grocer pledges to match every dollar donated, up to $5,000.

“As a community-focused retailer, it’s vital that we lead by example when giving back,” said Nancy Lebold, CEO of New Seasons Market. “The ‘Gift It! Match’ program exemplifies our dedication to serving not just our customers but neighbors in need. Every matched dollar represents our commitment to making a measurable difference.”

Through its Gift It! program, New Seasons Market partners year-round with local nonprofits and community organizations. While customers can always donate their Neighbor Rewards points, there are a few times throughout the year when New Seasons Market matches their gifts.

Throughout the year, or to match during September, customers can log in to their Neighbor Rewards, click “view account,” scroll to “send gift,” select the amount and click “gift it.”

New Seasons Market regularly holds events throughout the year matching customer donations. During May, the grocer held its annual Nourish Our Neighbors Match, benefitting 10 local nonprofits. Additionally, it has other donation avenues: Bag It Forward, a five-cent donation for each reusable bag purchased, and Cans for Kids, a 10-cent donation for every redeemable can or bottle returned.
