ECRS, IX-One Collaborate To Enhance Product Data Content Sharing

ECRS IX-One partnership

ECRS has entered into a strategic partnership with IX-One, also known as The Data Council and a subsidiary of SPINS LLC.

ECRS, a provider of POS and inventory management systems, uses CATAPULT, a unified transaction platform that integrates operational sectors such as inventory, supply chain, analytics, marketing, sales and payments in real time. Featuring the Universal Product Database, a cloud-based service managed by ECRS, CATAPULT provides access to digital information for more than a million retail products through its user-friendly item management interface.

The partnership with IX-One allows ECRS to supply the UPD service with comprehensive and uniform product details, benefiting the extensive network of CATAPULT retailers across North America and the Caribbean.

Through the integration of IX-One data within the ECRS UPD, CATAPULT retailers are equipped to present the most current product packaging and details to consumers. This is essential for creating accurate marketing materials, enhancing e-commerce experiences and ensuring in-store displays are up to date.

“This partnership with IX-One represents a significant advancement in our commitment to providing retailers with the tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive market,” said Melanie Marshall, supply chain business unit manager of ECRS. “By leveraging IX-One’s comprehensive product data solutions, ECRS customers can enhance operational efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and drive growth.”

This partnership highlights the commitment of both companies to drive innovation and achieve excellence within the retail sector.

“We are excited to join forces with ECRS to bring unparalleled accuracy and reliability in product data sharing to retailers,” said David Williams, VP of business development at SPINS. “This partnership will not only streamline supply chain processes but also empower retailers with the information they need to provide exceptional service and build trust with their customers.”
