In a community effort to address childhood hunger, Northgate González Market and Kellanova have donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana.
This donation will support the Boys and Girls Club’s programs aimed at alleviating food insecurity in the community. The check presentation took place at Northgate Market’s Fontana store.
“With 34 million people in America not knowing where their next meal will come from, the need to help feed and fulfill continues,” said Daniel Nazario, VP of sales accounts, Kellanova. “Through Kellanova’s Better Days Promise, we’re committed to feeding people in need, and we’re proud to partner with Northgate González Market to support children in our communities.”
In 2022, 49 million Americans relied on hunger relief programs, such as food banks and pantries, to help feed their families.
