Save A Lot has begun a new partnership with Uber, allowing customers to have their groceries delivered from more than 150 of the St. Louis-based grocer’s locations.
In addition, shoppers also will be able to use their Health Benefit cards to buy thousands of items through Uber Eats.
Health Benefit cards offer a way to buy groceries and over-the-counter drugs using healthcare benefits. For Save A Lot customers with a card issued by a Medicare Advantage or Medicaid plan, their Health Benefit payment method will be accepted by Uber Eats.
“Save A Lot is known for providing high-quality groceries at a value to its customers while also partnering with local community organizations to make the biggest impact possible, thanks to their extensive network of Retail Partners across the country,” said Beryl Sanders, director of U.S. grocery and retail partnerships at Uber.
“Many consumers are price-conscious, and we’re excited to continue to partner with brands like Save A Lot to increase value for Uber Eats consumers.”
Since launching grocery in July 2020, Uber has seen consistent growth in the U.S. for the category through partnerships with the Albertsons Companies, Meijer, Kroger, SpartanNash and Hy-Vee, among others.
