ShopRite Of Wayne Unveils Special Edition Cheerios Box

The Inserra Supermarkets ShopRite of Wayne associates were honored May 10 with a special edition Cheerios Box in recognition of their fundraising efforts for local food banks.

The ShopRite of Wayne raised $5,800 during the annual ShopRite Partners in Caring Cheerios Contest, sponsored in partnership with General Mills.

Inserra family members Larry Inserra Jr., Lawerence Inserra III, Laura Dupont, Kyle Dupont and the store team presented a check for $2,500 to community-based Wayne Interfaith Food Bank.

This year, 10 Inserra Supermarkets ShopRites are among the 52 top fundraising locations, raising a combined total of $212,902. In total, this annual contest raised more than $1.6 million to fight hunger in the company’s local communities.
