H-E-B held a grand opening Wednesday for its first store in Fort Worth, the fifth the retailer has built in the DFW Metroplex.
The 125,000-square-foot location at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway joins recently opened H-E-B stores in Allen, Frisco, McKinney and Plano, as well as six Central Market locations that have been around for more than two decades.
“We’re excited to open our doors and welcome our neighbors in this dynamic area of Tarrant County, a community we’ve served for more than 20 years with our Central Market stores,” said Chase Bowman, top store leader.
“With an enhanced in-store experience and commitment to top-quality service and selection, our dedicated Partners are eager to serve the needs of our customers in this growing community.”
Continuing its drive into the DFW area, the Fort Worth store features a True Texas BBQ restaurant, full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru and a Texas Backyard department that offers a selection of outdoor items.
The store also has H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, through which customers can place orders online for pickup or home delivery.
H-E-B marked the store’s grand opening with $10,000 donations to CASA of Tarrant County and the Humane Society of North Texas.
