Extending beyond the borders of California for the first time, Superior Grocers has opened a store in Las Vegas.
“This expansion represents our commitment to providing quality products and exceptional service to new customers while continuing to serve our loyal patrons in Southern California,” said CEO and President Richard Wardwell. “We are incredibly excited to be a part of such a welcoming community and look forward to building strong relationships with our new neighbors.”
Customers formed lines outside the store before its grand opening. Once inside, they found an array of offerings, including an expansive selection of fresh produce, premium meats and a variety of groceries and specialty foods.
In addition, the store offers a selection of fresh, prepared sushi, bakery items, boba for horchata and a dulceria, with a variety of Hispanic candy. Las Vegas High Mariachi Joya performed at the opening.
To mark the occasion, Superior Grocers presented checks and donations to the following organizations:
- Sandy S Miller Elementary School – $1,000
- Ann Lynch Elementary School – $1,000
- Mario & Joanne Monaco Middle School – $1,000
- Las Vegas High Mariachi Joya – $3,000
With more than 72 locations in California, Superior Grocers continues to expand its reach while upholding its core values of quality, variety, value and service.
