H-E-B held grand openings March 6 for two stores – one at 29388 I-10 West in Boerne and the other at 16000 Woodland Hills Drive in Humble, Texas.
The two H-E-B stores have features such as H-E-B Curbside with covered parking and home delivery, full-service H-E-B pharmacy with a drive-thru and a fuel station with gas pumps. The Humble location will also offer shoppers a walk-up seafood boil stand in front of the store.
“Along with commitment to top-quality service and selection, our H-E-B partners are excited to serve our neighbors in this growing community,” said Gilbert De La Rosa, top store leader for the Humble-based location. “We are excited to provide our customers a dynamic shopping experience and look forward to serving up the best H-E-B has to offer.”
In celebration of the grand openings, H-E-B donated $10,000 to the Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries, an organization in Boerne that supports families in need with food and other resources, and $5,000 to Inspire ND, creating inclusive communities for people with neurodiversity through education and engagement.
“This is my fourth store to open in the Houston area, and this will be a true neighborhood store,” said Carol Thelen-Sonnier, general manager, an 18-year H-E-B employee. “My team and I are excited to be a part of this community, and the partners working here will represent the area in the true spirit of H-E-B.”
