The 117,000-square-foot store that H-E-B opened Feb. 21 at 24924 Morton Ranch Drive in Katy, Texas, features one of the grocer’s largest international sections.
The store offers curbside and home delivery services, with the curbside area featuring 11 covered spaces. Shoppers also can enjoy its walk-up Seafood Boil stand in front of the store, where they will find shrimp, crawfish, crab and lobster.
Inside the H-E-B Katy store, customers will find thousands of products, ranging from Field & Future by H-E-B to household, baby and personal care items. The line of more than 120 products features hypoallergenic formulas, biodegradable ingredients and recyclable packaging.
“I have lived within five miles of the store for the last three years and know the community has been yearning for their own neighborhood H-E-B,” said Moniece Shead, general manager.
“My team and I are excited to be a part of this community’s growth and to provide our new neighbors with convenient, close-to-home shopping paired with outstanding Texas hospitality.”
To mark the occasion, H-E-B donated $5,000 to Katy Independent School District’s Miller Career & Technology Center Culinary Arts Program. The two-year offering exposes students to a variety of post-secondary options in the restaurant and service industry through hands-on experience.
