Publix has added two additional Florida stores to its lineup: a 46,791-square-foot store at 16950 San Carlos Blvd. in Fort Myers and a 46,828-square-foot store at 4966 Le Chalet Blvd. in Boynton Beach.
Both locations will have a Publix Liquors adjacent to them, offering wine and spirits.
Publix adds these stores to its growing number of new and remodeled locations in the Sunshine State, including supermarkets in Fort Myers Beach, Kissimmee, Melbourne, Miami, Royal Palm Beach, Sarasota and Westlake.
These Publix locations feature a deli counter with Boar’s Head meats and cheeses. The deli also offers an international selection of olives and more than 200 artisan cheeses. The produce department carries organic and conventionally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
The Florida sites will feature meat departments with custom cuts, including Publix private label all-natural and organic GreenWise chicken. Their seafood departments carry fresh seafood and wild and farm-raised fish, as well as a wide variety of shellfish.
The locations also provide contactless pay options and services, such as grocery delivery with Instacart, pharmacy delivery and an online pickup area at the front of the store.
In celebration of the grand opening in Fort Myers, Publix donated $1,000 in nonperishable items to Gladiolus Food Pantry. The shelf stable food was delivered by the Publix Good Together truck.
