Last updated on March 1st, 2024

Milo’s Tea Company, a family-owned, certified woman-owned business known for crafting tea and lemonade using high quality ingredients, has been recognized as a 2024 Real Leaders Impact Award winner.

Real Leaders, a global platform that promotes and celebrates purpose-driven businesses, has included Milo’s Tea among 185 global companies. The sixth-annual ranking by Real Leaders is a comprehensive evaluation of companies that prioritize social and environmental responsibility while demonstrating financial success.

“Being real and doing good have been part of our DNA since my grandfather founded Milo’s, long before people talked about corporate responsibility,” said Tricia Wallwork, chair and CEO of Milo’s Tea Co. and granddaughter of founder Milo Carlton.

“We don’t focus on good to win awards, but we do appreciate Real Leaders for highlighting our work alongside other admirable companies in the hope that it encourages even more investment in people and planet.”

Real Leaders evaluated Milo’s commitment to sustainability, social responsibility and ethical business  practices – notably its commitment to reducing and reusing waste as a Certified Zero Waste manufacturer, a 1% Profit Pledge benefitting community partners and a commitment to creating Growth Pathways for 100 percent of Milo’s associates to achieve economic prosperity for themselves and generations to come.
