Coborn’s Shares Executive Leadership Promotions

Coborn’s has announced several executive leadership moves that will take effect in February as the Minnesota-based grocer aims to enhance its “strategic focus on continued growth, financial health and overall success.”

Emily Coborn Wright, who has a diverse background in various roles, will become SVP of growth initiatives, concentrating in the areas of liquor, pharmacy, e-commerce and franchise operations.

Nathan Tykwinski will transition to VP of market strategy development, a role that also involves identifying opportunities for new stores, acquisitions and remodels to drive organizational growth. Tykwinski, a key member since 1991, will also oversee facilities/construction and continuous improvement.

Chad Nellis will become senior director of pharmacy, fuel and franchise growth operations, expanding his role from director of pharmacy. He will oversee pharmacy operations and lead its franchise operations, identifying opportunities for organizational growth.

Christie Schulte will continue as VP of legal services, now overseeing the asset protection team along with risk, safety, compliance and food safety. Schulte started her career with Coborn’s in 2015 as real estate manager.
