Sam’s Club has announced plans to reopen its store at 1701 W. State Hwy 114 in Grapevine, Texas, in late 2024, nearly two years after storm damage forced its closure in December 2022.
Following extensive renovations, the store will showcase new technology, improved services and a more extensive selection of products.
“We are thrilled to announce the reopening and revitalization of our Grapevine location and are excited for the opportunity to directly serve the Grapevine community again,” said Lance de la Rosa, EVP and chief operating officer.
“We’re looking forward to providing an enhanced shopping experience and delivering on our promise of helping our members share more, serve more and live more through value, convenience and quality.”
Leaders across the Grapevine shared in the enthusiasm for the store’s return.
“We are delighted to welcome back Sam’s Club to our community,” said Mayor William D. Tate. “Sam’s Club has been a valued establishment for nearly 20 years in Grapevine, and the reopening will not only bring convenience to our residents but also contribute to the economic prosperity of Grapevine.
“We appreciate Sam’s Club’s commitment to investing in our city and supporting local businesses.”
A division of Bentonville, Arkansas-based Walmart, Sam’s Club also will be providing $30,000 through a grant and in-kind charitable donations to support the Grapevine Relief and Community Exchange.
In addition, Sam’s Club is offering the Dallas/Fort Worth market an exclusive discount on new memberships. Customers can join as a Plus member and get $50 off their next in-store purchase of $50 or more or become a member and get $30 off their next in-club purchase of at least $30.
These offers are available only at Dallas/Fort Worth Sam’s Clubs and are not redeemable in other markets.
