Stater Bros. Markets will hold the grand opening of its newest store Dec. 13 at 930 N. Haven Ave. in Ontario, California.
The 47,491-square-foot store will be located at the corner of Fourth Street and Haven Avenue in Ontario and anchor The Collection neighborhood center developed by Lewis Retail Centers.
The Ontario store’s grand opening will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. The Chaffey High School Jazz Band will provide live music, and Stater Bros. Charities will donate $30,000 to six local non-profit organizations.
The organizations receiving donations will be Unidos Por La Musica, Chaffey Band Boosters, Ontario Police Department Explorers, Hope Through Housing Foundation, West End YMCA and Frontsight Military Outreach.
“Stater Bros. is very proud to bring this new and modern market to serve the bustling community of Ontario,” said CEO and Chairman Pete Van Helden.
“With this store, I believe we’ve created a grocery shopping venue to match the fun and upbeat community of people who live and work in the surrounding area.”
Customers can choose from a multicultural food experience with prepared foods such as pollo asado, a burrito hot bar, grab-and-go sandwich wraps, Korean fried chicken wings and numerous heat-and-eat options.
The store also will offer customers pastries and desserts, such as fruit-filled conchas, chocolate-strawberry croissants and Latin-inspired desserts.
The supermarket will have full-service meat, seafood, service deli and bakery departments, as well as additional offerings like fresh sushi created in-store and fruit cut on location.
