Perfect Hydration Alkaline Water will share a rebrand of its full product line to illustrate the beverage’s qualities and support its positioning as a brand for active lifestyles and athletes.
Perfect Hydration is a water option for athletes, having been named the official water of the NOBULL CrossFit Games earlier this year, with a 9.5+ pH alkaline formula, electrolyte minerals and sustainable packaging.
The new trademarked logo “immediately implies action and creates more ownability for the brand,” according to the company. Versatile enough to integrate onto bottles and cans, it also possesses the autonomy to stand alone, ensuring brand distinctiveness.
The new bottles incorporate fewer elements that capture consumers’ attention while accentuating Perfect Hydration’s selling points. A green color highlights the brand’s 9.5+ pH level and sustainable packaging, which is made of 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic for all bottle SKUs and infinitely recyclable aluminum for the cans.
Additional branding on bottle features the same blue color to drive continued brand recognition with added white striations and stripes. Pops of white text show Perfect Hydration’s full brand name in addition to a nod to alkaline water and electrolytes.
“We can’t wait to share Perfect Hydration’s new look,” said Louisa Lawless, chief strategy officer for Perfect Hydration.
“We’re a mission driven brand, and it was our goal through this rebrand to more openly communicate our differentiating factors to consumers. Plus, as we experience unprecedented growth, it is imperative to have a strong brand foundation and properly position Perfect Hydration from a visual standpoint. I couldn’t be more proud of all who had a hand in making this rebrand possible.”
Alongside this rebrand comes a new SKU from Perfect Hydration – a 16-ounce resealable can that joins the brand’s 16.9-ounce single use can as the second aluminum packaging offering. This innovation allows consumers and athletes to take Perfect Hydration’s 100 percent recyclable aluminum can on the go.
The rebrand will be reflected on all SKUs of Perfect Hydration’s product line, including the 20-ounce, 1-liter, 1.5-liter and 1 gallon jug bottles, the 16.9-ounce and 16-ounce aluminum cans and all multipacks and master cases.
Rebranded packaging, including the new resealable can, will hit shelves in spring 2024 in all channels. The company will support the launch with an omnichannel marketing approach of new in-store POS suites, agile shopper marketing campaigns, premium brand content, digital and streaming TV advertising, influencer and athlete partnerships and out-of-home advertising.
