Christina Melillo, director of center store and packaged goods, has been promoted to VP of merchandising for Buehler’s Fresh Foods.
In her new role at Buehler’s, Melillo will work with store operations to ensure the implementation of operational programs and innovative concepts. She will play a role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the merchandising department.
Over her tenure, Melillo has shown a dedication to Buehler’s Fresh Foods and has been influential in its merchandising efforts. She began her career at Buehler’s in 1989 at the Medina Forest Meadows location. In 1997, she entered the management training program where she had the opportunity to work at several locations.
Melillo was later promoted into Buehler’s office merchandising team as a non-foods and grocery merchandiser in 2004. Then in 2019, she was promoted to her most recent role, director of center store and packaged goods.
“Christina Melillo is and has been a key member of the Buehler’s Fresh Foods Leadership team for 34 years. Her work and efforts have contributed much to our ESOP,” said Mike Davidson, president and CEO.
