Bounty Paper Towels is picking up pet adoption fees in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, working to save the lives of shelter pets across the country.
“Some animals spend over 500 days in a shelter,” said Janette Yauch, VP of Bounty.
“We’re proud to be teaming up again with Best Friends Animal Society in an effort to encourage people to adopt the pets who’ve been at the shelters the longest to get adopted the quickest.”
To kick off the partnership, Bounty will attend Best Friend Animal Society’s Super Adoption event Nov. 4-5 in Los Angeles, California, along with actress, author and host Maria Menounos.
“It’s no secret that I’m a proud dog mom to two rescue pups, so I am excited to attend this adoption event with Best Friends Animal Society and Bounty,” Menounos said.
“It’s so important to me to support rescue pups that need loving homes and I’m proud to work with Bounty to make that happen – while picking up pet messes along the way.”
Best Friends Animals Society works with a network of animal welfare and shelter partners to run pet lifesaving programs across the country. About 1,000 dogs and cats will be available at the adoption event.
“Every pet deserves a loving home,” said Brittany Thorn, executive director of the society.
“We are thrilled to partner with Bounty on Super Adoption and throughout November as they generously offered to pick up adoption fees at our six lifesaving centers, as well as Best Friends Animal Society’s Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah.”
