Dietitians with Carlisle, Pennsylvania-based The Giant Co. will be offering free virtual nutrition classes in November. The classes are designed to share ideas to celebrate the last full month of fall and the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Every Monday at noon, the Giant/Martin’s dietitians will share ideas for sprucing up consumers’ most loved recipes in the Meal Solutions Monday: Seasonal Soups series.

Each Tuesday at noon, they will explore how seasonal produce deserves a spotlight at the Thanksgiving table in their Produce Spotlight: Seasonal Sides series. Featured recipes include kale and potato mash with feta and warm Brussels sprouts and apple slaw.

Thursdays at noon, the dietitians will offer the Thanksgiving Entertaining series. They will share their favorite picks and products, as well as provide quick tips and easy takeaways for baking, board building or pie elevating inspiration and recipes.

Mini Chef Mornings will be featured at 10 a.m. on Nov. 18. Combine family, health and food to create mini Thanksgiving pies with the kids during this snack craft session.

Every Monday at 7 p.m. in November, start the week with Well-being Workshops: Diabetes Awareness Month. With topics like Diabetes 101 and Diabetes Management with Pharmacy, learn more about both prediabetes and diabetes, as well as discuss well-being tips and product recommendations to aid in the management of this disease.

Visit The Giant Co. dietitian websites at giantfoodstores.com/wellness or martinsfoods.com/wellness for recipe inspiration and resources. There is also a link to pre-register for all virtual classes, including a complete listing of classes and ingredients needed for each class. In addition, customers can earn 50 CHOICE Rewards points when they register, provide their card number, state and attend the entire class.
