Stater Bros. Markets has promoted Denise Singler to VP integrated marketing.
In this position, Singler will report to Stater Bros. SVP and CMO Rebecca Calvin and will be responsible for ensuring that Stater Bros.’ brand integrity and strategy are consistent across all touchpoints. This includes the direction of the company’s brand experience and how customers and company teammates feel about the Stater Bros. brand.
She also will oversee the company’s marketing strategy execution including print, digital, loyalty and shopper marketing activities.
Singler has helped transform the former advertising department into the integrated marketing department by integrating new methods of customer engagement. During her tenure leading the department, Singler has also been instrumental in leading the company’s brand evolution.
“Denise’s promotion acknowledges the quickly evolving nature of marketing and how companies and consumers must engage with each other,” said CEO Pete Van Helden.
“I look forward to working with her and her team to find new and innovative ways to reach both existing and new customers to drive future growth.”
Singler’s career with Stater Bros. Markets began as an application lead in the information technology department. Prior to Stater Bros., she held roles in the retail food business and brought with her more than 20 years of experience in supervising and training across multiple functional areas.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Western Governors University and has earned an Association of National Advertisers Marketing professional certification. She also has completed the USC Food Industry Executive Program and is a member of the Network of Executive Women and the American Marketing Association.
